Hgprtase

Hypoxanthine-Guanine Phosphoribosyltransferase (Hgprtase) is important as a source of purine to Plasmodium falciparum (the parasite which causes Malaria). This is because the parasite is unable to make its own purine. It has been suggested that inhibiting this enzyme may be therapeutically valuable.

In test jobs, this query gave more hits than usual taking more time than typical jobs.
